Ella MacDonald

6 (Nearly Wild)

 

Ella MacDonald (She/Her) is an emerging theatre artist from K’jipuktuk/Halifax who will be graduating from Dalhousie/King’s this spring with a B.A. Hons. Acting and Certificate in Dance. She is the recipient of the 2020 Hnatyshyn Award for English Acting, and in 2019 she received the Andrew and David Stitt Memorial Award. In 2019 Ella completed the Animotion  Puppetry Intensive at Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia. Ella aspires to complete an M.A. in Performance and become a certified Intimacy Director. Previous FSPA Credits include: Ephemera  (Morgan Ross), La Calandra [Assistant Director]. Fred and Elizabeth Fountain for their ongoing generosity to the students of the Fountain School.

This show has been created in Mi'kma'ki, Anishinabek, and the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut'ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations and the Métis Nation (Region 3) Likewise, the platforms we use are based in Indigenous lands and benefit from the riches of these lands. The Zoom's headquarters are located on the land of the Ohlone, and the Vimeo's headquarters are located on the land of the Munsee Lenape.
