Shani was born and raised in Halifax and is a grad of King’s and Dal Theatre. A former stage manager, Shani now works as a Sr. Project Manager at BaAM Productions, specializing in large-scale sports and cultural event production. Selected credits include the MLB Fort Bragg game, FIFA Women’s World Cup, NFL Super Bowl Opening Night, and 14 NHL Winter Classics/Outdoor games. 

Based in Vancouver, Shani is delighted to be back at Dal and in the theatre, even if only virtually, and grateful for the opportunity to dive in and support such a talented and imaginative team as they adapt and “go digital”. 

This show has been created in Mi'kma'ki, Anishinabek, and the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut'ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations and the Métis Nation (Region 3) Likewise, the platforms we use are based in Indigenous lands and benefit from the riches of these lands. The Zoom's headquarters are located on the land of the Ohlone, and the Vimeo's headquarters are located on the land of the Munsee Lenape.
